United Airlines sues man

www.batkar.artistwebsites.com

How to get cheaper airline tickets?

This is how it works:  You will need to book a one way flight without any checked luggage.  For example, if your main destination is New Orleans, simply book a ticket from your departing city to Miami, Florida with a layover in New Orleans.  Get off the plane in New Orleans and enjoy your vacation.

Orbitz and United Airlines are suing Aktarer Zaman for "hidden city ticketing" tactics or for simply exposing the "inefficiency" in airline ticketing.  Its not so much illegal but it does hurt the airlines in the wallet.  If everyone were doing this, the airlines would loose millions of dollars in revenue every year.

The webiste is: www.skiplagged.com

Ironically, its not uncommon for Airlines to offer cheaper fares for some destinations that are not regional hubs.  Most of these flights are routed through more popular destinations.  The problem lies here; if too many customers take advantage of this discrepancy it WILL hurt the airlines bottom line. If too many customers take advantage of this information, the airlines may have to start charging for checked in baggage; or headphones; or even food on some flights to compensate for loosing a few dollars to skiplagged.com.
